July 22, 2013 Hi, Every Sunday morning my husband and I make it a point to have a big breakfast.  This past Sunday was my husband turn to make the breakfast.  I'm happy to say he outdid himself.  He made his potato goulash and biscuits.  Add a glass of Orange and you have a delicious and filling meal. Looks delicious doesn't it?       Here it is on a plate - it certainly fills it.     Potato Goulash Recipe   Ingredients:     3 to 4 red skin potatoes, washed and chopped with skins on 1/2 cup onions, chopped 1/2 cup green peppers, chopped 1 cup ham, chopped 1/2 cup mushrooms, sliced 1/2 cup tomatoes, chopped 1/4 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese 1 tbsp. canola oil   Directions:   Heat oil in large skillet.   Sauté on medium heat, ham, onions, peppers, and potatoes until potatoes are starting to brown.   Add mushrooms and tomatoes and mix...

July 20, 2013   Recipe for the day  I thought and thought about what type of recipe I would start out with.  Should I go fancy and delectable or should I go straight for good ole' home cooking?  It wasn't until I was making my macaroni salad for dinner that I thought, "What's the matter with me?  I'll blog my recipe for macaroni salad."
